Priceline Haul and Review

After a visit to the doctors last week, I've taken more of an interest in my skin care routine. I personally have sensitive skin (more so on my face than body), and every time the weather changes drastically (especially when transitioning between seasons) my sensitive skin becomes dry and super noticeable. So after my doctor's appointment, I was recommended a few things that could easily be picked up at any pharmacy or super market! (and I also picked up a few other goodies!)

The first thing my doctor recommended me, I absolutely fell in love with - the Garnier intensive 7 days express-hydrating GEL lotion. This lotion is so hydrating, one of the most hydrating lotions I've used. This range by Garnier comes in both cream lotion, and gel lotion. My doctor recommended I get the gel lotion as it absorbs into your skin way better and faster (she actually uses this lotion too!) I purchased the peach scented one, and I LOVE the smell of it. I personally like fresh or fruity scented things, so this one is right up my alley!

The next thing my doctor recommended was this Olay moisturising cream for sensitive skin. It's a thick, white cream that I now use twice a day (morning and night) and I love it. Because I have dry cheeks and an oily T-zone, it's sometimes hard for me to find a moisturiser that hydrates, but at the same time doesn't make my forehead shiny - and that's why I love this moisturiser! It doesn't have a fragrance to it because it's for sensitive skin.

Another thing I picked up from Priceline was the Toni & Guy glamour Spritz & Shine Liquid Mousse. I've been hunting down a good mousse for a while now, and because I never really use mousses, I didn't know where to begin - so I randomly decided to try out the Toni & Guy one. After shaking vigorously, I expected a nicely formed ball of light mousse to spray out onto my palm, but instead the mousse just kinda flew everywhere for a bit! But then after that first spray everything was normal. Firstly, this mousse has a pleasant smell to it, quite fresh scented. I bought this mousse to create curls in my hair, so based on the purpose it bought it for, it's an alright mousse! Overall there's nothing really negative I could say about this mousse, although it left my ends a tad bit crusty and wet-looking - but the top half of my strands were left super soft

I also decided to buy the Essence metal glam gold topper to add to my vast nail polish collection. It's just specks of gold foil, but I think the gold topper looks great on top of any base colour of your choice, plus it was quite inexpensive!

Hope everyone is well and has a great week. Sorry if this post contains too many words for your liking hahaha. I'll see you all in my next post! take care!
