So 2 weeks ago, I went to Fashion Weekend Sydney - which was held at the Royal Hall of Industries. At Fashion Weekend, you basically shop (mostly) discounted designer brands, and (if you bought a ticket for it) you could also watch the catwalk!
Honestly it was pretty good, my friend and I spent 4 hours there. At first I couldn't really find anything, but as I did another lap I started to buy more and more things. There were so many designer labels there, which meant there were an abundant of clothes, shoes, and various accessories. The atmosphere was great and the discounts were also not too bad
As well as the clothing stores, there was also NP Cosmetics - where you could get a mini make over, BDB (Blow Dry Bar) - where you can get your hair done. Chic Model Management were also there scouting for models, and for those who wanted to experience a photo shoot, you could with The Photo Studio, who would shoot and print your photos for you - PLUS you would automatically go into the running to become the Face of Fashion Weekend and win $3000 worth of prizes
As I mentioned before, you could also purchase tickets to the Canon Runway that showcased many of Australia's amazing fashion designers. My friend and I decided to buy Gold seat tickets and our seats weren't too bad!
I might go again next year, if you have never been I definitely recommend going for the experience! If you are going to go I also HIGHLY recommend wearing comfortable shoes! Also, whilst I was there, Missy Confidential had a booth to advertise their app - If you guys want to find out about these fashion events, pop up sales, or great online and in store deals you should definitely download their app - it's free too!
