It's all about the hair

Recently I've been trying to take better care of my hair, so I decided to invest in some hair products!

So the most recent hair products I've picked up are:

Schwarzkopf Heat Protection Spray
This was my most recent purchase so I have yet to try it. I was really looking for the Tresemme Thermal Styling Heat Spray but they ran out of stock, so I decided to give this one a go and let you guys know what I think about it soon. Apparently it's not that great

Nak Surf Styler
I had no idea where to begin when I was searching for a good sea salt spray, so I asked the lady at the store what she recommended. As soon as I sprayed this I instantly loved the smell of it, it sort of reminded me of coconuts, however it left a really sticky feeling on my hands afterwards. Also, it did an average job when it came to creating that beachy hair I was going for. Overall I don't regret buying it, but I won't be repurchasing it.

Roots from Lush
I absolutely loveeee Lush so I was hoping this product wouldn't disappoint me, and it didn't! I love love love this hair treatment, it smells minty and fresh and leaves my hair so soft afterwards. I've used this product twice already and I'm pretty sure I have enough to use it at least 2 more times. I apply it to my scalp first and massage it for about 3 minutes, then I spread it throughout my hair and leave it in for 20 minutes. You do feel a cool sensation but that's nothing to worry about - though do make sure you're not allergic to any of the ingredients before you apply it

Instant Rockstar Dirty Weekend Dry Shampoo
Before buying this dry shampoo, I used Batiste Dry Shampoo Proud & True Brit. Although I did like the Batiste dry shampoo, it would wear off within 30 minutes or so, and it came out white so it would make my hair look really ashy.
So I decided this time to ask the shop assistant what she recommended. She told me that since my hair was dark brown, I should try the Dirty Weekend dry shampoo since it's specifically made for dark hair - so it doesn't come out white and doesn't make my hair look really ashy. I love the smell of this one too, but it makes my hair feel really weird at first and doesn't give me much volume like Batiste does, so I might not buy this one again.

juuce Deep Cleanse Shampoo
Since I use a lot of products in my hair, I thought I should buy a clarifying shampoo to remove any residue or pollution in my hair. Once again I asked for a recommendation cause I had no idea what I was looking for. The smell of this shampoo is great, and it does leave my hair feeling lovely and cleansed. However I try to stay away from hair products that have Sodium Laureth Sulfate and unfortunately this shampoo contains it - I don't regret buying it though. Since it's a clarifying shampoo, I'm going to only use it once a month, which I do advise - since shampooing your hair too often strips it of its natural oils. I think next time I'm going to try Redken Nature’s Rescue Refreshing Detox Shampoo.

Let me know what you guys think of these products or any other products you've tried and recommend. Hope everyone is having a lovely week, even though the weather is horrid, and don't forget to take care of your hair!
