My sister wanted me to use either brown/nude eyeshadows, or silver shadows and I decided that browns/nudes look better on her.
First thing I did was prime her face with Nude by nature's face primer. Next I applied Maybelline's Fit Me foundation with my blending sponge, and then I concealed her dark circles and any blemishes she had with Lancome's concealer Teint Miracle, blending everything together with my concealer brush.
I then set everything with Nude by nature's Mineral Finishing Veil.
Then I moved on to her eyes. First, from the Lancome eyeshadow quad, I used the nude brown colour (bottom right hand corner) - applying it to the middle and outer edges. Next I applied the brown shimmer eyeshadow (bottom left hand corner) to the outer edges of her eyes, giving a soft smokey eye look.
To finish off I used the white shimmer eyeshadow from my Victoria Secret Ultimate Studio Makeup Kit. I also used the white shimmer to highlight her cheekbones, eyebrow arches and the bridge of her nose.
Next I applied black liquid eyeliner to her eyes. The liquid eyeliner I used was given to us as a present, I have no idea what brand it is, but in all honesty it's a pretty good eyeliner. Then I lined her waterline with a black pencil liner from Designer Brands Australia - this eyeliner is an average eyeliner, I don't really recommend it, its quite hard but sometimes it'll do the job.
To finish off her eyes I used the Katy Perry Lashes I bought (which can be seen from my Cosmetics Haul post) I absolutely LOVE these lashes! they look amazing on!
(Sorry I completely forgot to take a photo of the lashes for this post!)
Then I used Maybelline's Full 'n Soft waterproof mascara (also mentioned in my Cosmetics Haul) on her lashes, and Ardell's Brow Sculpting Gel on her eyebrows - I definitely recommend this eyebrow gel if you're going for a natural look and don't want really bold, dark eyebrows.
Moving on from the eyes, I then used bronzer from Nude by nature to contour her face. I actually really like this bronzer, especially for my sister's skin tone. I then used a little bit of blush from Lancome on her cheeks - I personally think this colour looks gorgeous, especially on people with fair skin.
Finally, I applied nude lipstick to her lips, using Rimmel London's Lasting Finish by Kate Moss (which I also spoke about in my Cosmetics Haul) and also some clear gloss to make her lips nice and shiny.
Here's the end result!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post, I'm sorry for making it so long with so much text. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day where ever you are, and I'll see you lovely people in my next post!
